Missions & Outreach

Waterway Church has a heart for our community both locally and beyond. 

The Mission and Outreach team believes in supporting our local ministries and outreaches with time, donations, and prayer, to carry out Jesus teaching in Mark 12:31, the second greatest the second greatest commandment, to love our neighbor as ourselves. 

We believe in supporting with financial support and prayer, those called to carry out Jesus’ great commision in Matthew 28:14, to go and make disciples of all the nations.

Association of African Bible Schools

AABS (Association of African Bible Schools) exists to empower the local churches of Africa through helping to establish independently operated Bible schools, providing Biblical teaching resources, and encouraging pastors and leaders.

Bridge of Hope

Bridge of Hope works to end homelessness for women and children. They mentor and educate single mothers to achieve permanent housing and financial self-sufficiency. 

cornerstone Pregnancy Care Center

Cornerstone Pregnancy Care Center works against abortion and provide counseling and ultrasound exams for women who are or may be pregnant.  

Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) 

Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) is a mission agency based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. EMM equips, sends, and supports mission workers in more than 30 countries. EMM's mission statement: Christ's transforming love compels us to cross cultures, engage the world, and make disciples of Jesus.

Gideon’s international

The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through association together for service, sharing personal testimony and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While they are often recognized for their work with hotels, they also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.

Global Disciples

Global Disciples mission is to make it possible for clusters of churches to multiply Christ-like disciples and locally-sustainable fellowships among least-reached people.

lighthouse youth center

The Lighthouse Youth Center is a ministry to the children and youth of Oxford that teaches the Gospel, basic life skills and provides a place for healthy recreation.

mennonite disaster services

Mennonite Disaster Services (MDS) works to bring relief to those whose lives have been affected by storms and other acts of nature.

North Star INITIATIVE

North Star Initiative advocates for and supports survivors of sex trafficking by providing physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual development through a Christ-centered focus.

Oaks ministry

The Oaks Ministry provides safe housing and a faith-based program that helps women find employment and offers financial training along with professional health counseling.

Onesimus Prison Ministry

Onesimus Prison Ministry shares the gospel with those who are imprisoned.
